Cumbria Pensions Team Fundraiser
Cumbria Pension Team Tour de Partnership
My Story
The Cumbria Pension Fund is part of a partnership with other pension funds to manage investments – called Border to Coast. To celebrate expanding our partnership to 18 Pension Funds a key member of their team is undertaking a long distance Charity bike ride to raise money for Charities in each pension fund area, as well as for an overall charity – this has been nicknamed the 'Tour de Partnership’. Ewan, who head’s up their Customer Relations team, is the man in the saddle, emulating riders in the Tour de France the previous month. Staring outside Carlisle Castle in Cumbria on 3rd August he is going to cycle through all 18 Fund areas and finish in Kent and Sussex 10 days later. Some of the Cumbria Pensions team (plus friends) are planning to join him in Carlisle for the start of his first leg as he heads towards Lanercost, and then on towards Tyne & Wear, and onwards through the country.
